Points to Consider When Preparing the Internship Logbook
The first two pages must include a company introduction and a description of occupational health and safety measures.
Starting on page 3, a description of the work performed should begin.
Phrases such as “We had a morning meeting” should never be included.
The entire internship logbook must be written in an academic style, adhering to spelling and grammar rules.
Personal pronouns such as “I, you, we, sir, ma’am, master,” etc., and titles should never be used.
For each figure included in the internship log, in addition to the figure caption, the content of the figure must be explained in a sentence within the paragraph preceding the figure, using the figure number (“As shown in Figure N…,” “… ...is shown in Figure N," etc.).
The pages of the internship logbook cannot consist solely of figures; at least 45% of the page must contain written text.
If a technical drawing is included on a page, it may cover the entire page in full A4 size.
The technical drawing must include tolerances and surface properties.
