Hydraulics - Pneumatics
This laboratory features a compact workstation equipped with MPS® PA systems for level, flow rate, pressure, and temperature control. Each of the four control systems integrated into the workstation can be operated independently.Using an appropriate controller, the level and flow rate control system can be configured as a cascade control system. The design of the sensors and valve actuators allows for the use of both continuous (e.g., P, I, PI, PID) and discrete (e.g., two-point controllers) controllers. Pumps can be controlled via direct drive or speed regulation. The adjustable variables of the flow rate and pressure-controlled systems can also be used as a proportional directional control valve. Two-way ball valves containing pneumatic process actuators are installed between the upper tank and the lower reservoir. Two-way ball valves can be used to simulate the load that corresponds to the disturbance variable in a level-controlled system.

Automation
The CNC machines used are computer-controlled desktop milling machines, featuring a design and functionality that meet industry standards. Industrial robots are used for loading and unloading tasks, equipped with powerful controllers (multitasking, path control). It includes a simple CAD/CAM system for milling, 3D simulation for milling, and CIRCOS automation software.
The EMCO PC Mill 105 is a fully developed, computer-controlled, 3-axis CNC milling machine. Its structure and functionality meet industrial standards. All functions required in modern production processes can be implemented as described. The well-designed machine concept enables faster learning thanks to its simplicity and ease of operation. The 5-axis RV-2AJ industrial robot handles automatic control, retrieving parts that have been temporarily stopped on the conveyor line via a buffer, placing them into the CNC machine, and returning the machined parts to the line. Unmachined cylindrical parts moving along the line are stopped by sensor signals and transferred to the CNC machine by the robot arm. Parts machined on the CNC machine are picked up by the robot arm and placed on a separate conveyor, where the transfer process continues.
