Regarding Summer School | Deadline: Thursday, July 9, 2026

Dear Students,

Our department will not be offering any courses for the 2025–2026 Summer School. Students who wish to take courses at other higher education institutions during summer school must pay attention to the points listed below.

Accordingly, students wishing to apply should submit the course syllabus and course content approvals for the course they wish to take at the relevant higher education institution, along with their application forms, via email to mkt@yildiz.edu.tr by the end of business hours on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Summer School Course Enrollment Guidelines:

  • Courses from other universities may be taken for departmental courses, service courses (courses with codes MAT, FİZ, and MDB), and social elective group courses, provided that equivalency requirements are met.
  • To take a departmental course from another university, the student must have previously taken the corresponding course in our department at least once and received a grade other than F0.
  • Courses planned to be taken from other universities must receive an “approved” endorsement from the faculty member teaching the corresponding course in our department regarding their content. Course content approval is not required for service courses.
  • To take courses with prerequisites, all prerequisite requirements must be met. Courses that are prerequisites for one another cannot be taken together in the same semester.
  • A maximum of 9 (nine) credit hours may be taken during summer school.
  • Courses and grades earned at other universities by students who have not submitted a summer school application to our department will be deemed invalid.
  • Applications without approved course syllabi will not be accepted.
  • Following the evaluation of applications, the final list of eligible students will be announced after a decision by the Faculty Administrative Board.
