Format for Internship Applications via Email for International Students:
Note: Students applying for an internship via email must carefully read the application steps below and submit their applications in the required format to ytu.staj.basvuru@gmail.com no later than 14 days before the internship start date. If the application is not submitted in the required format and within the specified timeframe, the internship application will not be accepted, and the responsibility lies with the student.
Important: It is essential that internship applications be submitted from your personal Gmail address rather than from university email addresses with the “std” extension.
Step 1: Have the “YTÜ Internship Application Form” and the “Information Form on Unemployment Fund Contribution to Internship Stipends” from the documents listed below signed and approved by the workplace representative. (See the end of the page for a sample form.)
Step 2: Create FORM3: “SPAS Eligibility Certificate” via the e-Government Portal. The SPAS Eligibility Certificate is generated through the “SPAS Eligibility Certificate Inquiry (Health Provision Activation)” section on the e-Government Portal. You can access the relevant webpage by clicking the link below or by typing “SPAS Eligibility Certificate Inquiry” into your web browser’s search bar, and then create the certificate using your e-Government password.
Step 3: Scan the documents FORM1, FORM2, FORM3, FORM4, FORM5, FORM6, FORM7, FORM8, and FORM9 and combine them into a single PDF file.
Step 4: The internship application documents, now combined into a single PDF file, are named in the format “Student ID_First Name_Last Name.”

Subject Line: The following information must be included in the subject line in the following order: “Student’s Department, Student ID, First Name_Last Name, Type of Internship (Workshop, Professional Field 1, Professional Field 2).”

Body of the Email: The text below should be copied and pasted into the body of the email, and the applicant must fill in the blanks with the following information in order: “Student ID, First Name_Last Name, Student’s Department, Type of Internship.”
“As your student with student number ………………….. and full name ……………………………, I would like to apply for an internship in the …………………………. Department to complete my ……………………. I would like to apply for an internship by sending you the documents listed below in accordance with the internship regulations and application guidelines.” “
Attachment: A single PDF file containing the internship application documents (FORM1, FORM2, FORM3, FORM4, FORM5, FORM6, FORM7, FORM8, FORM9) and named in the order “Student ID_First Name_Last Name,” will be attached to the email as an attachment.

FORM 7: OBS Student Course Schedule (Submission is mandatory if the student is taking courses during summer school)
FORM 8A: Workshop Internship Site Introduction Form (Submission Required)
FORM 8B: Vocational Field Workshop Internship Site Introduction Form (Submission Required)
FORM 9: OBS Curriculum Status Certificate (Submission Required)
FORM 8A and FORM 8B are required only for internships conducted at locations where an internship site has not been designated.
